For this week, I have learned about the different types of media, such as Audio, Visual, Observation, Verbal (formal and informal), Body Language, Print and Text.
Personally, I would like to gain the ability to use these media to enhance the learning experience for student in the classroom, especially student who have special needs. Speaking about learning, it is from this course that I have looked at the definition of learning and the different types of learners, examples: 1) Visual, 2) Auditory 3) Tactile 4) Kinesthetic 5) Analytic and 6) Global.
At the end of the class, I was able to know the three (3) main benefits of Educational Technology:
1) It catered for diverse learners.
2) Learning can take place, anytime, anywhere, by anyone. Learning is not confined by 4 walls
3) Educational Technology makes access to information easier.
I also, hope to use the KWL Chart to evaluate my knowledge of the use of Educational Technology at the end of each topic.
